Connect a billing module

Before you begin

Confirm that you have access to the relevant dashboard, billing and server settings before making changes. Do not paste enrolment commands, API tokens, signing secrets, passwords or private keys into support messages.

Confirm that the package is for your billing system and check the listed requirements before installation.

Procedure

   Download the module from your VPN Dashboard account.

   Back up the existing module directory before replacing an older version.

   Install the files using the instructions included with the package.

   Create a billing connection in VPN Dashboard.

   Copy the dashboard URL and billing API token into the matching module fields.

   Configure request signing where the module provides it, or add the billing server’s public IP address to the connection allow-list.

   Add the separate SSO signing secret only when you enable direct customer login.

   Run the module’s connection check where provided and confirm that it reaches the correct dashboard.

If the result is different

Record the approximate time, dashboard address, account reference and exact error. Check the related billing request and server status before trying again.
