Connect a billing module

Install the module for your billing system and link it to a VPN product.

Before you start

  • Administrator access to your billing system
  • The current module package from your VPN Dashboard account

Each guide covers the correct module location, connection fields, product settings, customer-area link and supported service changes.

Steps

    Download the module from your VPN Dashboard account.

    Back up the existing module files before replacing an older version.

  3. 3

    Install the files using the instructions in the package.

  4. 4

    Create a billing connection in VPN Dashboard.

  5. 5

    Copy the dashboard URL and billing API token into the module.

  6. 6

    Use request signing when the module supports it. Otherwise, add the billing server’s public IP address to the allow-list.

    Add the separate SSO signing secret only if you want direct customer login.

  8. 8

    Run the module’s connection check and make sure it reaches the right dashboard.

Expected result

The module is connected and the product includes the right number of profiles.

If it does not work

Note the exact error and when it happened. Check the affected customer, server or billing connection before trying again. If you still need help, open a case and include the service reference. Do not send passwords, tokens, private keys or server credentials.
