Reconnect a rebuilt server

Before you begin

Confirm that you have access to the relevant dashboard, billing and server settings before making changes. Do not paste enrolment commands, API tokens, signing secrets, passwords or private keys into support messages.

Procedure

   Stop new profiles being added to the affected server.

   Confirm whether existing profiles must be moved or recreated.

3. 3

   Remove the old server record only after noting the location and assignment details you need.

4. 4

   Create a new server record and generate a fresh one-time connection command.

5. 5

   Run the command on the replacement host and confirm that it is healthy and has spare capacity.

If the result is different

Record the approximate time, dashboard address, account reference and exact error. Check the related billing request and server status before trying again.
