Guide
Add a VPN server
Connect a supported server and check that it is ready for customers.
Before you begin
Confirm that you have access to the relevant dashboard, billing and server settings before making changes. Do not paste enrolment commands, API tokens, signing secrets, passwords or private keys into support messages.
Use a current Debian or Ubuntu server with root access, working DNS and outbound HTTPS access. Keep the one-time connection command private.
Procedure
- 1
Open Servers and choose Add server.
- 2
Copy the one-time connection command and keep it private.
- 3
Run the command as root on the Debian or Ubuntu server.
- 4
Return to the server record and confirm that it has checked in recently.
- 5
Confirm that WireGuard or OpenVPN is available and that the server has room for profiles.
Expected result
The server is connected and can accept new VPN profiles.
If the result is different
Record the approximate time, dashboard address, account reference and exact error. Check the related billing request and server status before trying again.
