Installation guide

Connect WooCommerce to VPN Dashboard.

Install the WordPress plugin and connect products, variations and Woo Subscriptions events.

Install

Put the module in the right place.

  1. Download the WooCommerce ZIP from Integration downloads in your VPN Dashboard account.
  2. Upload the plugin in WordPress, or copy vpn-dashboard into wp-content/plugins.
  3. Activate VPN Dashboard for WooCommerce and open WooCommerce, VPN Dashboard.
Download it from your account.Module packages are private and the current ZIP is available under Integration downloads after sign-in.

Connect

Add the dashboard connection.

  1. Enter the HTTPS address of your hosted dashboard.
  2. Enter the billing API token, SSO signing secret and webhook signing secret from the matching billing connection in VPN Dashboard.
  3. Keep the provider key as woocommerce, add the WordPress server public IP to the billing API allow-list and use Test connection.
Use one matching provider key.The module, billing connection and customer sign-in settings must use woocommerce.

Product

Set up the VPN product.

  1. Edit a WooCommerce product and enable VPN Dashboard product.
  2. Set Profiles per unit and choose shared or dedicated server access. A variation can override both values.
  3. For recurring products, use Woo Subscriptions if you want subscription state changes to update VPN access automatically.

Customer access

Add the customer-area link.

When enabled, WooCommerce My Account shows a VPN service link that opens the customer VPN area through a signed URL.

Keep the SSO signing secret private. Change it in both systems if it is ever exposed.

Before launch

Check the complete order path.

  1. The module connection check succeeds.
  2. The product creates the expected profile allowance and server access type.
  3. The customer link opens the correct branded VPN area.
  4. Suspension and restoration update the same service.
  5. Cancellation removes access from the same service.

Details specific to WooCommerce.

  • Order quantity multiplies Profiles per unit.
  • Automatic recurring lifecycle changes require Woo Subscriptions.
  • Other WordPress subscription plugins are not handled automatically.
