Setup guide

Prepare your VPN service for launch.

Complete these four steps in order. Each step includes a clear status to confirm before you begin accepting orders.

Before launch

Keep access to the services you rely on.

We run VPN Dashboard. Keep separate access to your billing system, DNS provider and VPN server hosts so you can still manage them if the dashboard is unavailable.

Record the dashboard address, DNS target, billing system, VPN server provider and our support contact somewhere outside the dashboard. Do not store live tokens or private keys in that record.

Brand and address

Add your business name and customer address.

Upload your logo, add your support details and choose the address customers will use, such as vpn.yourbusiness.com.

  • Use the private setup address until the customer area is ready.
  • Add the CNAME record shown in the dashboard.
  • Check that the customer area opens securely over HTTPS.

Add a location

Connect your first VPN server.

Copy the one-line install command from VPN Dashboard and run it as root on a clean Debian or Ubuntu server. When installation finishes, return to the server list and confirm that it has checked in.

  • Wait for the agent status to show as connected.
  • Check that WireGuard or OpenVPN is ready.
  • Check that the server reports available capacity.

Connect billing

Install your billing module.

Download the module from your VPN Dashboard account, install it on your billing server and copy the connection details into the matching module fields.

  • Map your VPN product to the dashboard.
  • Choose how many profiles the product includes.
  • Use shared access unless you have assigned a private server to the service.

Launch checks

Confirm the service is ready.

Check your billing system and VPN Dashboard before accepting orders.

  1. The billing module reports a successful connection.
  2. The mapped product has the intended profile allowance and access type.
  3. The customer area opens securely from the billing system.
  4. At least one VPN server is connected, ready and reporting capacity.
  5. WireGuard or OpenVPN is available for the product you intend to sell.
